“ I was very apprehensive about going to a Skilled Nursing Facility for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised when the shuttle bus from Eagle Point Health Care Center arrived to pick me up from the hospital. The driver, Bev, reassured me that I would be well cared for and she was right! The nursing staff was excellent. My room was very quiet and most importantly, I made new friends! I am now glad to be back home with my family and my pets, but I am going to fill out a volunteer application. I have discovered that I love BINGO….and it will be an opportunity to say hello to my new group.”

“I am shocked! I asked for certain things that I needed when I admitted to Eagle Point Health Care Center…and I received them immediately. They told me they would take care of some of my financial and health concerns and they did. I have been treated like family since I arrived. I anticipate that I will return home in a few weeks and they are helping me with that as well. I spent over 3 years in a nursing facility when I was younger, so I did not have high expectations. This is going to be o.k….I am so happy I chose Eagle Point!
“My surgery did not turn out as well as I had hoped and since I live by myself, I did not feel safe at home on my own initially. I spent 3 weeks at Eagle Point Health Care Center and am happy to say that I would return there if I needed to in the future. I know about the other facilities in town, but I chose this one because I knew a staff member there. My cousin works in the kitchen. They all treated me very nice and I did return home. “
